AABS accepts applications for subvention grants on an ongoing basis. These grants support the publication of scholarly books and book-length translations in any field of Baltic Studies. AABS primarily supports scholarship in the humanities and humanities-related social sciences. Applications will be evaluated according to the scholarly accomplishments of the applicant, the merit of the proposed book, and its importance to the development of Baltic Studies. Please send us 3 copies of each: a letter of application, CV, book prospectus, sample chapter, and evidence of a commitment to publish by a scholarly press.
Every effort will be made to process applications in a timely manner, but please allow three months for response. Applicants must be current AABS members. Current board members are ineligible.
