The Annual Business Plan Competition is a joint project of Graduated School of Management, SpbSU and the Haas Business School, Berkeley University, California, USA. The head of the project, since foundation in 1999, is Professor Godwin Wong.
Since 2005 by the decision of GSoM academic council the annual business plan competition is named in honor of Godwin Wong.
The objective of the competition is to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship, and to encourage entrepreneurial ventures/activities among the current students, graduates and alumni of the School of Management (SOM).
Students from other Saint Petersburg State University faculties and students from other universities participated in the 8th business plan competition. It is promising fact that the competition develops from year to year and attracts more and more talented participants. The spirit of competition promotes talents. We hope that the 9th annual business plan competition endorse this suggestion by noteworthy final works.
Each plan must be submitted by a group of TWO to FIVE participants. Partners from outside of GSOM or outside of the University are welcomed, but at least ONE of the participants in a group should be affiliated with the GSOM as current undergraduate students, graduate students, or previous graduates/alumni of the GSOM.
Business plan should be submitted in 2 copies and 1 e-copy. Also a short (1/2 A4) abstract should be attached to be published in the collection. All works are written in English.
