The ambition of the conference is to present Slovak science and Slovak education as an integral part of a broader European context. The main intention of the conference is to pay attention to the influence of the science and technology on forming a knowledge society. Science, technology and education are interconnected and dependent phenomena which influence in a big scale the economy and culture of a society. This intention of the conference is in correspondence with the intention of the week of science and technology within which the conference SCIENCE - EDUCATION - PRACTICE will take place.

4th section: Language as a means of communication in united Europe
5th section: Media - Arts - Philosophy - Education
6th section: Historical and social aspects of eurocitizenship
7th section: Science and technical education as a part of knowledge society
8th section: Permanently sustainable agriculture and biotechnologies
9th section: Economic efficiency of agricultural production and countryside development in Slovakia
10th section: Engineering in agro sector technology
11th section: Biological-engineering processes and trends in gardening and landscape architecture

- Preliminary registration till 15. 10. 2007 at the conference web page.
- Filling in the electronic sign-in form at the conference web page, title and paper abstract included till 15. 10. 2007.
- Paper acceptance notification till 20. 10. 2007.
- Forwarding of a paper according to the attached template till 30. 10. 2007.
- Payment remittance till 30. 10. 2007.
