The Summer School of the University of Bucharest offers intensive Romanian language classes (scheduled on three levels of proficiency: for beginners, intermediate and advanced students) meant to help the students to acquire basic spoken and written Romanian or to maintain and improve their previous language skill.
The participants may also attend lectures in the History of Romanian literature, linguistics, ethnography, anthropology, philosophy and Romanian civilization, and take part in workshops held by high reputed professors of the University of Bucharest or by personalities of Romanian culture
The cultural programme will include meetings with remarkable writers and artists, national evenings, as well as study trips.
The summer courses of the University of Bucharest are open to B.A., M.A. and Ph.D.students, researchers, as well as to anyone who is interested in the study of the Romanian language, literature and civilization
