Location: Helsinki
Period: 7-23 Aug 2007
Deadline: 27 July 2007
The international Helsinki Summer School, introduced as a part of the European cultural city programme of Helsinki in the year 2000, has already established itself as a highly appreciated academic summer event. High-quality instruction in interesting topics in combination with a good atmosphere. As European Credits (ECTS) are given for these courses, many students can include them in their domestic degrees.
Helsinki Summer School provides a limited number of full and partial scholarships for talented students, to be awarded primarily to applicants from countries where local scholarship funds are limited. Scholarships are granted only to applicants currently enrolled at a university or college. Scholarships are not granted to students living in Finland or studying at a Finnish university.
This year, Helsinki Summer School grants also Utrecht Network scholarships. The criteria for students to be eligible for the grant are:
Non-European nationality
Acceptance to, current enrollment in or recent completion of a Master's degree programme at one of the Utrecht Network partners
