Journal of Contemporary Central and Eastern Europe is a multi-disciplinary journal providing a radical critical analysis of economic, social, cultural and political perspectives and developments in the region bounded by Germany in the west and Russia in the east.
The journal welcomes submissions in all fields of the social sciences and historical and cultural studies, and seeks to stimulate social and political debate on current issues. In addition to single country analyses, JCCEE accepts multi-country analyses linking the region with the wider issues of world order, globalisation and inequality.
JCCEE publishes research articles, forum pieces and book reviews. We are also interested in features beyond the traditional fare of academic journals and will consider submissions of documentation, interviews and eyewitness accounts.
