Notice of Tender - Award of concession for the comprehensive management of the airport of Forlì

A public call for tenders for the 30-year global management of Forlì Airport has been published.
The deadline for the offers is 6th May 2014.
This is a exceptional opportunity of investment. In fact the conditions are extremely favourable: no compensation for the works carried out so far required; no specific investment necessary to operate the airport that is already equipped; plus, a series of benefits provided by the local authorities (more than two millions financing for new investments and available areas close to the airport for non aviation activities).

Forlì Airport in brief

Forlì Airport represents a valuable destination because of its particular geographical location. It's easily accessible to/from North-Eastern, North-Western and Central Italian Regions.
It is a strategic destination not only for the Emilia-Romagna Region, its Riviera, the hinterland but also for its proximity to important Italian business and tourism destinations such as Tuscany, Umbria and the Marche Regions. Only 40 minutes drive away from seaside resorts: the elegant atmosphere of Milano Marittima, the peaceful coastal towns of Cervia and Cesenatico, the fun-loving towns of Rimini, Cattolica and Riccione;
Centrally located with easy road and rail connections to/from major cities such as Milan, Venice, Florence, Ancona, Bologna, Perugia, Assisi and the ancient San Marino Republic and last but not least Rome.

Passengers development

Forlì is an "easy airport" both for Airlines and passengers, providing its customers with a lean and efficient organisation. As far as the development of new routes is concerned, the infrastructural and operational-technical facilities at Forlì Airport have recently been improved and aimed at providing a larger number of flexible and no-frill quality services. Passengers can park their cars at low-cost prices, check-in and check-out easily and quickly; airlines can turn-around their aircrafts efficiently and within 25 minutes if required.
