Russian at the University of Leeds is happy to support applications to the Leverhulme Early-Career Fellowship scheme.
Given our recent success in this scheme, we are well placed to offer suitable applicants a supportive and rewarding environment in which to work. Russian is part of the School of Modern Languages and Cultures, the largest of its kind in the UK, which has research groups focusing on a wide range of areas: Cultural Studies; Film and Visual Culture; History; Language, Linguistics and Translation; Literary Studies; and Social Science. Colleagues in Russian also contribute to the cross-Faculty Leeds Russian Centre, whose focus is ‘Russia(n) in the Global Context.’ More information about the Leeds Russian Centre can be found here:
Research proposals specialising just in Russian as well as those of a more interdisciplinary nature, particularly speaking to the concerns of the Leeds Russian Centre, will be welcome.
