Tallinn University Summer and Winter School

• Duration: three-week intensive course / 60 hours teaching language. Classes every week-day. From 10:00 to 13:30: language course. In the afternoon: specialised lectures and discussions on aspects of Estonian culture, history, art, music, and traditions.
• Levels: Beginner – students will develop basic Estonian communication skills and master day-to-day conversation. The course programme includes pronunciation practice, listening comprehension and easy communication. Intermediate – students will further develop their speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar skills. The students should be familiar with basic Estonian structures. The course programme includes activities on various everyday-life situations.

• Price: 390 EUR. Participation fee doesn't cover texbooks.

University of Tartu Estonian Summer Course

• Duration: two-week intensive course / 30 hours teaching language. Classes every week-day. From 09:00 to 13:00: language course. After the language class, (in the afternoon) we will visit museums and watch Estonian movies. Educational and entertaining workshop is organized ( a notebook workshop at the Estonian Printing Museum).
• Levels: Every language level from Beginner (A1) to Intermediate (B2)
• ECTS: 4,5
• Price: 420 EUR. Participation fee covers the study materials and classes. The Estonian Institute and the Archimedes Foundation offer foreign students free places at Estonian language and culture summer courses organised by Estonian universities in 2014.
