Description
The Youth Economic Forum is organized for young scientists, PhD students and university students by the Institute of Economic Studies, Karelian Research Centre, Russian Academy of Sciences and financed by the Government of the Republic of Karelia. The Forum will take place in Petrozavodsk (Russia), November 14-15, 2013.
We'd be glad to offer you help with accommodation, as well as arrangements for the cultural programme, including excursions around the city, visits to museums, theatres, etc. Feel free to ask any questions you may have concerning participation in the Youth Economic Forum.
Please mind that many foreign participants will require a visa to enter Russia. The Organizing Committee will gladly offer you the necessary visa support in the formof the invitation you shall provide when applying for visa at the nearest Russian consulate or embassy.If you'd like to get the letter of invitation please state this request in the registration form and we shall contact you for further information.
Eligible topics for the conference
This year our Forum is devoted to issues of International economic integration. There will be sessions devoted to:
- Economic integration as an aspect of globalization of the world economy;
- The formation of regional integration structures;
- Eurasian economic integration;
- Euroregion as a form of international integration;
- Russia and the WTO: the first results of the integration process;
- Russian business in the international division of labor;
- Inter-regional integration and national economic space of Russia;
- Cross-border cooperation of regions and municipalities;
- International integration and innovative development;
- Social and legal aspects of economic integration;
- Migration in the development of the integration process;
- Integration for sustainable development and the transition to a "green economy".
We encourage you to make your own suggestions on a thematic session or roundtable in addition to the above, given that they fit in the Forum's “International Economic Integration” mainstream. theme. The deadline for submission of applications and full text papers has been shifted to October 15, 2013. Please e-mail them at forum_insteco@inbox.ru .
Before this date the participants can also send their proposals on the Forum program (topics for sessions, roundtables, master classes, etc.) presented at one of the Forum sessions and approved by the editorial council will be published in the proceedings. Students and doctoral students are required to additionally submit a review of the article by a person with the doctoral or postdoctoral degree. Personal participation is acceptable only.
The Editorial board is being formed. Experts interested in being taken onboard are invited. Applications will be accepted before October 15, 2013.

In order to apply, you should submit the following documents:

- Position (student, PhD student, post-doc, lecturer, etc.)
- Degree
- Postal address
- Telephone number
- Participation format (paper, participation in discussion)
- Paper title and abstract
- Please state whether you need invitation for visa and hotel reservation
