World Investment Report 2012

The World Investment Report 2012 will be presented by the Italian "ICE - Agenzia per la promozione all'estero e l'internazionalizzazione delle imprese italiane" and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). The event will take place in Rome on Jul. 5, 2012.

The program of the event will include the presentation of the World Investment Report, the UNCTAD publication that deals with Foreign Direct Investments on a global and regional scale. This years' presentation will focus on Investment Policy Framework for Sustainable Development.  The Investment Report will be introduced by Dr Shin Ohinata, economist of UNCTAD, and by other international experts.

Prof. Marco Mutinelli (University of Brescia) will expose the first results of the research "Italia Multinazionale". This research has been addressing the issues of internationalization of Italian firms and Foreign Direct Investments in Italy, measuring some parameters such as their geographical and sectorial orientation, their number and volume.
