Program

This workshop, titled "Where the Regional Meets the Global: Changing patterns of cooperation between 'the West', Russia and Eurasia in the context of 'emerging powers'", is organized by the British International Studies Association. The workshop will be held at the Princes Dashkova Centre, Edinburgh University. Participants will discuss cooperation between Russia and the West in the context of new rising powers. Specifically, the workshop will address Russia's understanding of regionalism, the new role of the United States, Russia and BRICS in global governance, Russia's role in Central Asia and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and, finally, Europe-Russian and NATO-Russia relations.
