Centre for Russian, Central and East European Studies Fifth Annual Research Forum

The Center for Russian, Central and East European Studies (CRCEES) at the University of Glasgow is organizing it Fifth Annual Research Forum, which will take place in Glasgow.
The program includes a combination of research panels, plenary sessions and informal workshops to celebrate the variety of work being undertaken within the Center for Russian, Central and East European Studies network. The broad themes to be addressed at the conference are:
• Aspects of identity and culture and their social, political and economic implications;
• Political transformation and international relations;
• Economic and social transformation;
• Literary, cinematic and cultural developments in the area;
• The politics of language.
