From the Italian land to Poland. Bonds between two peoples

With the support of the Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Milan, the association of Poles in the region of Trentino “POLONIA”, in collaboration with the association “Il Gioco degli specchi”, organize a conference on the 190° anniversary of Józef Wybicki’s death. Józef Wybicki was the author of the “Song of the Polish legions in Italy”, which later became the Polish national anthem. The conference is an occasion to discuss the historic bonds between the Italian and Polish peoples.
Fernando Orlandi of the Centro Studi sulla Storia dell'Europa Orientale will examine some moments of  the common history of Poland and Italy.
Roberto M. Polce, writer and news photographer, will tell the audience about his experience.
Edyta Nowokunska presents the association of Poles in the region of Trentino.
Danuta Harkabuzik will introduce the meeting.
