This article examines the Occupy Movement in Slovenia and puts in the context of the wider global movement. By looking at the principle organizational methods of the movement and some of its actions, the article provides an overview of the meaning of the movement.
It was written by David Brown as the movement entered two and a half months of continuous occupation of the square in front of the Ljubljana Borza. A MA Candidate at MIREES Interdisciplinary Research and Studies on Eastern Europe, University of Bologna, under the program requirements Mr Brown is now spending a mobility term at the University of Ljubljana.
