Description of the Conference/Event

The Conference is organized by the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ANUBiH), Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts (HAZU), London School of Economics LSE London, University of Bologna, within the Academic programme 2010/2011 of the Inter University Center (IUC), Dubrovnik.

The programme will mainly consist of the invited lecturers, your papers and discussions, which will be given by distinguished experts in the field, including members of several academies of sciences and arts from different European countries. Your presence would be an impressive contribution to the recognition and development of economic and regional science in SEE, particularly in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.

Eligible topics for the conference

The main conference topic is "Regional Cooperation in Europe: Opportunity for the Balkans". This topic reflects European and regional principles and concepts related to the significance of regional cooperation in the EU accession process. The Conference is opened to all the issues of regional science, regional development theory and policy, cooperation, cohesion, institutions, financing, integration, and education.

Guidelines for submission

Electronic submission of paper manuscripts is encouraged, i.e. submission on a CD-ROM or as an e-mail attachment. When submitting paper, please indicate the first author's family name. (e.g. richardson.doc) The submitted papers will be subject to double anonymous international peer review.
