Inter-disciplinary Political Studies (IdPS) is a graduate journal published three times a year. It is a joint project by the graduate communities of the School of International Studies, University of Trento and the Graduate School in Comparative and European Politics, University of Siena. The primary aim of the journal is to encourage and promote the research of graduate students and young scholars by publishing their work and helping them to integrate within their profession.
The ambition of the journal is to disseminate inter-disciplinary scholarly research of quality in Political Science, International Relations and related fields, meeting the standard requirements for academic research in terms of the conceptualization, operationalization, methodological application, and the analysis of results. IdPS welcomes contributions that approach important research problems and political phenomena and answer research questions of general interest in political science. Cross cutting disciplines, the journal adopts a non-doctrinal approach and encourages research based on wide and inter-disciplinary perspectives.
