Center for Regionalism is a non-governmental organization founded in 1996 in Novi Sad, in the northern province of Vojvodina in Serbia. Since its establishment, the Center is dealing with issues and problems related to decentralization, local government reform, democratization issues, minority rights and regional cooperation in Southeastern Europe.
Center for Regionalism offers solutions in specific areas of interest to state governments and citizens and lobby to particular solution to be adopted. Centre for Regionalism is also involved in research work and in this sense has a rich publishing activity, from time to time coming up with proposals for new concepts in the field of minority rights and regionalism and regional integration.
Through the various actions the Center has established and maintain three regional networks:
1. Civil Dialogue-cooperation between NGOs from Kosovo and Serbia;
2. Association of Multiethnic Cities of Southeastern Europe Philia – network of cities and NGOS from all states of SEE;
3. Igman Initiative - aimed at governments and NGOs of Dayton square.
