The Summer Academy will aim to bring together scholars working on research projects on East European affairs to discuss and participate in three keynote lectures. The general theme for the academy this year will be Energy and the Environment in Eastern Europe.
The working language for the summer school is English and will be limited to 15 participants.
Ph.D students and post-docs. In addition, Senior Researchers are welcome to apply also.
Applicants must submit the online application along with their C.V. and project proposal of 1-2 pages via email to freund@osteuropa-institut.de.
Application deadline is 30 April, 2011.
Partial travel grants will be available to applicants from the Central and East European region.

Applicants will be notified by the first week of May. The participiation fee for the summer academy is € 50.
