The conference will deal in particular with two main topics:
- the outcome of the EU-Russia May Summit and the relationship between them after the event, with particular attention to the economic crisis, the climate change, the issue of energy and the EU-Russia partnership for modernisation;
- the dangers for European business of investing in Russia at a time when the 2010 World Bank Doing Business Report ranked Russia’s business environment 120 out of 183 countries reviewed and Russian President Medvedev has criticised the continuing "legal nihilism" in Russia.
