The Summer School is an opportunity for doctoral students and PhDs (no more then 3 years from completion) to present papers and receive critical feedback from experts in the field. The program of the School will include workshops and panel sessions focused on submitted papers and debates on historiography, interpretative issues and new research directions.
Moreover prominent scholars in the field will be present during the event, such as: Svetozar Rajak (London School of Economics), Federico Romero (University of Florence), Mario Del Pero (University of Bologna), Leopoldo Nuti (University "Roma 3"), Silvio Pons (University of Rome "Tor Vergata"), Antonio Varsori (University of Padova), Marylin Young (New York University).
Accepted students are required to provide for their own travelling expenses to and from Bertinoro and pay a 50 euro registration fee.
The school will provide board and lodging at the summer school venue.
