Where are we? – Post-Communist and Post-Soviet Countries Over the Past Twenty Years

Program
The main aim of the conference is to answer the question: Where are we now?, namely what is the situation of the former Eastern Block countries after the independence and after thirty years from the birth of Solidarnośc in Poland in 1980. In particular the state of affairs linked with social, economic and political fields will be analysed. The interest will also be focused on the events of the latest history of the region which had a strong impact on the contemporary situation of the area.
