Main scientific activities
- He contributes to the publications and research of the University of Bologna's Istituto per l'Europa Centro-Orientale e Balcanica. His interests include the political systems of former Soviet republics, especially in the Caucasus region. He is working at Osservatorio Balcani e Caucaso, a think-tank based in Italy focussed on socio-political developments in the Balkans and the Caucasus, and he is currently working on a research project on youth policies in the northern Caucasus thanks to a grant provided by a local foundation.
