The Soviet and Post-Soviet Review is a peer-reviewed journal, which primarily focuses on the social history of modern Russia. It publishes articles based on earlier unknown documents from Russian archives.
In the 20th century, Russia survived revolutions and wars, atrocious social experiments, terror, and the disintegration of the communist empire. This journal is dedicated to show how people live under such conditions, how they protect themselves, how they cope with state power, and what their expectations for the future are.
The journal welcomes articles on history and historiography. Each issue includes articles, essays, and book reviews.
