5th South East European Doctoral Student Conference

Conference venue: Thessaloniki (Greece)
Period: September 13-14, 2010
Deadline for submitting abstracts: March 15, 2010
Deadline for submitting full papers: April 15, 2010 (only for Research Track 2 – see below eligible topics)

Deadline for submission of full – camera ready paper: June 15, 2010.
Notification of acceptance: May 25, 2010.

Description of the conference

The conference aim is to make easier the exchange of knowledge and ideas between young researches and to consolidate the network of scholars involved in the research about South East Europe. The purpose is also to establish collaborative links between disciplines in order to verify the ground with innovative ideas. The conference is open to young researches currently attending doctoral study or in early years of their research career.

Eligible topics for the conference

Papers should be related to the following topics, even if other topics are welcome too:

  • Research Track 1: Enterprise, Innovation & Development;
  • Research Track 2: ICT and the World of Services;
  • Research Track 3: Democratic Governance, Education and Society;
  • Research Track 4: Psychology: Risk, Cognition and Well-being.

Guidelines for submission

Abstracts should be maximum of 500 words.
Papers should be not longer than 3000 words.
 
The conference participation fees are 50 euro and include attendance, coffee and lunch, and a copy of the proceedings.
