The role of Istria in the process of economic transition of Croatia

This research on the transition of Croatia represent the deepening of former studies on the same subject.They have been centered on commerce, privatizations and foreign investments. In this case the attention is focused on relation between state and regions administrative structures. In the first chapter the change in the state-regions relations after 1992 is analyzed. The second chapter takes into consideration the economic side of the mentioned transition period with a particular look on the Istria region of Croatia.
