Civil Society Institute (CSI) is a non-governmental organization created in 1995 in Georgia.
CSI promotes the creation and the development of civil society and democratic state by encouraging democratic values and the rule of law, educating social actors and increasing their civic activity, and providing a legal environment for the organizations of civil society.
At present, CSI is actively involved in the process of reformation of governmental organizations and state institutions. About this, Civil Society Institute has collaborative agreements and important contacts with the Parliament of Georgia, High Council of Adjara, Supreme Court of Georgia, and the other most important state institutions of the country. Furthermore, CSI is also involved in court reform, in law-making process, and in poverty reduction process too.
