CALLISTO

CALLISTO is an environmental non-profit organization, which was founded in July 2004, in Thessaloniki, Greece, by scientists with great experience in environmental issues.

The main goal of the organization is the protection of the environment as a public- collective commodity, as well as the lobbying as far as decision making on human life quality standard and on natural environment issues. It intervenes also in order to eliminate or to minimize the impacts of large technical works and other human interventions on the natural environment.
 
CALLISTO is involved  in important regional and international organisations and networks.
