IRF

The International Renaissance Foundation (IRF) was founded in April 1990.
 
IRF is a part of the International Soros network which incorporates national and regional organizations in  thirty countries around the world, including Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. These organizations share the common objective of supporting educational, social and legal initiatives that promote the development of an open society.

IRF is one of the most important organizations in Ukraine. Its main goal is to support key civic initiatives in the country while providing financial and operational assistance to the development of an open and democratic society. Moreover it promotes the integration of national minorities into Ukrainian society and the protection of their rights.

It supports national projects that encourage European integration and promotes reforms of the penitentiary, educational and public health systems.
