The symbol of the Movement for Social Democracy United Democratic Union of Centre

Name in Greek: Κινήμα Σοσιαλδημοκρατών ΕΔΕΚ

This is a centre-left political party, led by Yiannakis Omirou. It was founded in 1969 with the name of EDEK. EDEK backed Dimitris Christofias of AKEL in the second round of the February 2008 presidential election.
