"ANTIGONE", acronym for Information and Documentation Centre on Racism, Peace and Non Violence, is a non-governmental organization founded in Thessalonica in 1995. Its main offices are located in Athens.
Mostly active in the fields of human rights, peace and non-violent conflict resolution, "ANTIGONE" is also concerned with ecological issues in close cooperation with the "Ecological Movement" of Thessalonica.
"ANTIGONE" has created a database providing information about national actors and other kinds of organisations actively engaged against xenophobia and racism in Greece.
In the last years "ANTIGONE" has been selected several times to act as the official National Focal Point for Greece.
