The Institute for Studies on Federalism and Regionalism, in cooperation with the Faculty of Law and the School of Political Science and Sociology of the University of Innsbruck organises a winter school to analyze the phenomena of federalism, regionalism and multi-level governance.
During the 10-day-programme, legal scholars, political scientists and practitioners will give lectures and seminars to let participants develop and discuss the general issue of the winter school from a legal as well as a political science perspective. Teaching activities include seminars, discussions, case studies, workshops, public lectures and visits to local and regional institutions.

The working language is English. Successful participants will be awarded 10 ECTS credits.
The Winter School welcomes participants with different backgrounds:
Interested people could apply by submitting the application form no later than October 26th.
Applications can be submitted by email or by fax (see contacts below).
Successful applicants will be notified by mid-November 2009 and enrolment procedure should then be completed by November 30, 2009.
The tuition fee for enrolment is € 50. Travel costs, accommodation and other expenses are at the participants' own charge.
A limited number of partial scholarships covering travel costs and/or accomodation expenses could be awarded.
