Croatian language course

The course

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Croatia invites to send in applications for attending the Croatian language course organised by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Zagreb University and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Split University in the summer semester of the academic year 2007/2008, beginning on February 25, 2008.

According to the Rules on Reimbursement for Attendance of Croatian Course in the Republic of Croatia by Croats living outside the Republic of Croatia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration shall pay the tuition fee for the attendants of the Croatian language course who are of Croatian origin and live outside the Republic of Croatia.

How to apply

Candidates shall submit the following documents:

  • Application
  • CV
  • Photocopy of the passport
  • Proof of Croatian origin in writing - the Certificate of Croatian Citizenship of the applicant, or a Birth Certificate of one of the parents or of one of the ascendants back up to the 4th ancestral line (Art. 2 of the Rules) who was of Croatian origin
 

For the duration of the course, participants are required to register with the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia for temporary stay. To this end participants should produce a health insurance policy that is valid in the Republic of Croatia and a Certificate of No Criminal Record issued by the state from which they come.
The public invitation shall enter into force as of the date of its publication on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. Applications shall be accepted until February 8, 2008.
Any applications sent after the expiry of the mentioned deadline shall not be considered.
