This area offers a wide range of continuously updated news regarding both academic and cultural events together with academic calls and study programs
Period: June 16 - July 30, 2008
Location: Prague (Czech Republic)
Language: English
The Program is six weeks in length and offers courses on Czech Language, Czech Film, Europe in Transition, Czech and Central European Civilization, and Media Studies. All courses are taught in English and two courses constitute a normal full-time load. The faculty of distinguished Czech scholars is drawn from several of Prague's major academic institutions.
Students must choose two courses. Although it is not mandatory, the Czech language course is strongly recommended for all students to facilitate their integration into their surroundings.
Field trips constitute an integral part of the program curriculum and are organized to visit important historical sites in and outside of Prague.
If you wish to participate in the program, see the application procedure.
All courses offered by CHP are pre-approved by Northwestern University and the UNC Honors. Official academic records, based on written work, examination, and class participation, are forwarded from Prague to Northwestern University, UNC, or respective student's home institution
