Description of Master

The Institut européen, European Institute (IE•EI), an international teaching and research institute in Nice, department of CIFE (Centre international de formation européenne), invites graduate students to apply for its Master programme 2013/14. The “Master in Advanced European and International Studies” (MAEIS) offers an overarching, encompassing vision of the political, social, economic, and cultural problems of today´s modern world.
The courses are taught by renowned academics from various European countries, as well as experts from research institutions and practitioners from international organisations.
They offer a multi-faceted view on Europe and give students the opportunity to discuss the achievements and problems of Europe and to develop ways to handle them.

 

How to apply to the Master

 

Eligibility

This is an interdisciplinary programme for graduate students. All disciplines are welcome.
Depending on the branch knowledge of the English or the English/French/German must be proved.


 

Application Procedure

The application form can be downloaded from our website www.ie-ei.eu and needs to be sent to the students' secretariat before June 3oth together with the following papers:

•    Motivation letter;
•    Registration form completed and signed by the candidate;
•    Passport-size photograph;
•    Photocopies of your University degree(s);
•    List and summary of research papers written as part of your University degree(s) and/or transcript of records;
•    Two letters of recommendation preferably written by recent professors or head of programmes;
•    Documents certifying the knowledge of the required languages;
•    Curriculum vitae.

 

Enrollment Procedure

The application will be considered by an academic jury during its monthly meeting. Students applying for a scholarship need first to be accepted to the programme before their application for a grant can be considered.
