M.A. in International Economic Relations with a Special Focus on European Integration Studies

Venue: Kőszeg
Period: four semesters

Brief description: the MA International Economic Relations with a Special Focus on European Integration Studies programme at the Institute for Social & European Studies (ISES) provides students from around the world with the opportunity to obtain theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of international relations and economics, regional and global studies, political science, sociology, European culture and history. The MA is organized by ISES in partnership with Corvinus University of Budapest.

Eligibility

  • At least a B.A.-level diploma, preferably in related social scientific fields;
  • Advanced level English language certificate (TOEFL 79-80 iBT/213 CBT/550 PBT points, Cambridge Advanced Certificate, IELTS min. 6.0 overall band.) or any other relevant English language diplomas;
 

Application Procedure

All application materials should be submitted in English and sent electronically in an email-friendly format, besides you will also need to send a hard copy of the application and accompanying materials. Applicants should provide the following documents:

  • A completed application form (downloadable at the boottom of this page)
  • A curriculum vitae (CV)
  • Copies of diplomas and transcripts (may be faxed/scanned)
  • English language exam certificates or any other evidence of English knowledge
  • Motivation letter (1-2 pages), indicating your fields of interest and how you hope to benefit from the program
  • 2 passport-size photos
  • 2 letters of recommendation (should be sent by you in a signed and sealed envelope or faxed/e-mailed by the professor)
  • Writing sample
  • Proof of payment of the application/registration fee

VISA requirement: We would like to call your attention that - if required - applicants shall arrange to get their study VISA in Hungary themselves, and ISES cannot take the responsibility in case the immigration office refuses your VISA application. We provide all successful applicants with a certificate of enrollment after the registration fee is paid, but we do not have any influence on the procedure.

Application/registration fee: 60 EUR
A non-refundable application fee must be paid upon the submission of the completed application form. Proof of payment needs to be shown at the ISES office.
