This area offers a wide range of continuously updated news regarding both academic and cultural events together with academic calls and study programs
Venue: Princess Dashkova Russian Centre, University of Edinburgh
Period: Thursday 26th-Friday 27th of November, 2015
The workshop aims to explore the narratives and linguistic practices of Russian tourism from the perspective of the academics and the practitioners. In order to achieve clearer understanding of how Russian tourists interact with European, and more specifically Scottish identity, heritage and culture, the event will bring together the academic specialists and those who produce travel narratives themselves – authors of travel programmes, writers of guidebooks and Russian speaking guides.
Please find the programme and links for registration in the attached file at the bottom of this page.
The event is free but registration for the Workshop is essential.
If you would like to sign up for lunch, please note that the cost is £8; it can be paid at the registration desk in cash.
