The Journal “Economy of Region” aims at presenting the original results of both fundamental and applied research in the field of regional economics.
It provides the international review of the economic development of different countries and regions. The Journal is indexed in Scopus, EBSCO, RePEC, Ulrich's Periodicals Directory, E-Library, NEICON and gives to researchers the opportunity to share their most important research contributions with international academic community. The Journal’s founder and publisher is the Institute of Economics of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It publishes research papers both in Russian and in English 4 times per year.

All articles are submitted online at www.uralces.ru.
Authors sign uponline, fulfil all necessary fields, which will allow the unambiguous identification of the authors in various international databases. The author’s name should be transliterated in English, in accordance with the name written in the already published articles in the foreign databases, or the existing passport.
Also, authors are recommended to sign up the websites http://orcid.org/ and http://www.researcherid.com/, where they receive a unique identification number that allows to identifyan author and his/her works and references to them in foreign databases.
Accordingly, users need to keep their contact details up-to-date. Please check up that your profile contains the correct e-mail address as the Editorcontacts authors by e-mail.
