BASEES Conference on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution in 1956
with Hungarian and foreign experts in three or four sessions (to be discussed with BASEES representatives).
The sessions will focus on the international context of 1956, the international assessment of the uprising, the „Hungarian case” at the UN, and the revolution from different international perspectives (United States, Soviet Union Western-Europe, and the former communist countries).
