Scientific Library

Welcome to the PECOB Scientific Library.

The PECOB Scientific Library was established to meet the needs of relevant research in Central-Eastern Europe and the Balkan area (CEEB). The aim is to assist researchers at all levels - scientists, professors, post-docs and students who are seeking publishing opportunities for their research papers. All materials are in electronic form and access is free. The Scientific Library of PECOB offers a wide range of papers and articles dealing with Central-Eastern Europe and Balkan countries in different disciplines such as political science, history, sociology, economics, anthropology, culture and language studies.

This interdisciplinary library is designed to become a high quality and versatile reference tool. At the same time, both PECOB and its collaborators are aware that it is and will always be in progress and constantly improved. It is as simply structured and frequently updated as possible, to make it a popular and appreciated research aid.

The resources here included reflect the orientation of the portal, covering areas of politics, economics, culture, media and history. Users can access various papers, dissertations, research projects and collections of documents from universities, research institutions, international agencies and civil society groups.

The opinions presented in the documents are those of the authors and do not necessarily represent the views of the PECOB staff.
