32nd Annual American Studies Conference
American Studies Association of Turkey presents a conference on "Perceptions of Space and the American Experience"
Location: Ankara, Turkey
Period: November 7 - 9, 2007
This conference seeks to fill the scholarly vacuum that continues to exist with respect to space by removing it from the domain of the sacred, questioning its conceptualization, and exposing its manifestations within American Studies. We hope such a focus will advance the interaction between scholars who have conflicting historical and spatial epistemologies regarding the American experience.

Graduate Student Scholarships
The conference organizing committee will be providing twenty graduate student scholarships
In order to qualify for a scholarship, you must:
- Currently be enrolled in a Masters or Doctoral program
- Be presenting a paper at the 2007 ASAT Conference
